Danica Sotto is mourning the passing of her stepdad, Department of Agriculture (DA) Undersecretary Deogracias Victor “DV” Savellano, the husband of Dina Bonnevie.

The DA official passed away at 65 years old on Tuesday, January 7.

Danica then posted another heartfelt tribute to her late stepfather.

On her Instagram page on Wednesday, January 8, Danica shared a carousel of family photos featuring DV.

Along with the heartwarming snaps, Dina’s firstborn with Vic Sotto earnestly thanked her “Tito DV.” She also expressed how much she will miss her stepdad.

“Thank you, Tito DV, for being a loving husband and a kind stepdad to us. I will miss the food trips, your laughter, and your facial expressions whenever we teased Mom,” Danica wrote.

She emotionally continued, “I didn’t expect that last Christmas would be our final one with you. Sana napasalamatan pa kita. I will never forget your kindness. You were a man of few words, but you always made your love felt by taking care of those around you.”

“We will miss you, Tito,” Danica added.

Danica Sotto-Pingris is the daughter of popular actor-comedian and TV host, Vic Sotto, with veteran actress Dina Bonnevie. She was born on May 9, 1983 in Manila. Danica tied the knot with former basketball player, Marc Pingris, in 2007. Danica and Marc already have three children — Jean Michel, Anielle Micaela, and Jean-Luc.
