Kim Chiu once again went viral because of something she said on national television

A video surfaced just recently showing that the face of It’s Showtime host Kim Chiu was covered following the “dasurv” issue.

The Kapamilya actress has her fair share of controversies in the Philippine entertainment industry. Aside from her love life, people would also sometimes talk about the things she shares and says.

In a recent episode of the Kapamilya noontime show, Kim received criticism from netizens who are supporters of the former President Rodrigo Duterte. In her opening spiel, Kim mentioend the word “dasurv”. This was on the same day when FPRRD was arrested by the International Criminal Court (ICC).

Because of this, many netizens criticized the Kapamilya actress-host and accused her of alluding to the former President. Kim Chiu clarified that what she said has nothing to do with what happened to Duterte.

Her co-host Vhong Navarro also received criticism online for mentioning “dasurv” as part of his spiel. In his defense, Vhong showed a copy of his spiel for that day and he promoted good vibes.

In a recent post on Abante’s Facebook page, a video showed that a man covered the face of Kim in a tarpaulin for a popular Pinoy bakeshop. The actress is the main endorser of this food company.

Based on the the post, this happened in Indangan, Davao City, the known territory of the former President who also served as a mayor there for a long time. “Ito’y matapos ang isyu na ‘dasurv’ spiel sa isang noontime show, kasabay ng pag-aresto ng ICC kay dating pangulong Rodrigo Duterte,” a portion of the caption stated.

In the comment section of the post, a netizen shared a photo showing that in another place, Kim’s face was also covered.
