Love is totally in the air for EchoNine!

Jericho Rosales made it to Janine Gutierrez‘s grid, you guys. Janine officially debuted Echo on her Instagram Feed as she greeted him on his 45th birthday.

It was a simple birthday greeting. She wrote, “happy birthday @jerichorosalesofficial,” with all sorts of emojis that must be an inside reference for the budding couple. But what’s more amusing about Janine’s sweet birthday post for Echo is the set of photos that she posted.

Janine shared two photos of them at Fort Santiago in Manila. Both were candid shots, almost blurred ones actually, but it was enough to know that it was a special set of photos for Janine. ICYDK, before they confirmed that they were in the dating stage, speculations had already begun after a series of public sightings and seemingly matchy Instagram posts at a date at the National Museum of the Philippines.

Looking into the details of their post, the museum date appears to be one of their official dates together, and (!) their outfits were all the same as the ones they wore in the Fort Santiago pics Janine just uploaded.

It’s not just us who feel elated seeing new pics of Janine and Echo, a.k.a EchoNine, as what their fans now call them. Janine’s friend and former Sleep With Me co-star, Lovi Poe, left a comment saying, “Kiligerzzz.” LOL, so true!

One of Janine’s friends commented what seems to be Echo’s nickname among their group. She said, “Happy birthday new guy!!!! @jerichorosalesofficial.” Well, we’d look past the comment at first, but Janine replied to it with, “Obsessed [insert laughing emoji]”

Then came some fans’ comments too, describing Echo as the “new guy” who has brought happiness to Janine’s life. It read, “Happiest birthday to the New Guy who [has] now brought so much sunlight/sunshine in your life. I love you both my #EchoNine.”

Jericho Rosales’s 45th Birthday

While we’re still waiting (yes, we’re waiting) for Echo’s reply to Janine’s short but sweet birthday greeting, we do know that our Cosmopolitan Philippines 2024 cover star had an amazing birthday bash over the weekend.

Echo’s son, Santino Rosales, uploaded his heartwarming birthday greeting via an Instagram Story. The IG Story included a video of Echo getting surprised as he entered a restaurant. People gathered around him and wished him a happy birthday.

Santino’s message read, “Happy birthday dad. Thanks for always having my back! I always have yours!” He added, “Congrats on having a successful “yes year” love you dad [insert heart emoji]”

It does seem to be Echo’s “yes year” seeing as this 2024 has been an eventful one for the seasoned actor. It’s not just because of his relationship status at the moment, but most importantly because of his career.

In an interview with Karen Davila, Echo admitted that he’s ~restarting~ his life at 45, and it has been a pleasure for him. “If I were to start a podcast or you know, some talk show or something, I would give it the title na, “The 45-Year-Old Learner.” […] Right now, it does feel like I’m alive again. So there’s that ‘again energy.’ I can do teleserye, I can do stage, I can do film, commercials…any kind, I’m just accepting. I accept everything. It’s a yes year for me, I would say that.”
