‘This is my truth!’ Jam Villanueva exposes Anthony Jennings-Maris Racal alleged affair

MANILA, Philippines – The online world was shaken after Jam Villanueva revealed a message and screenshots of “flirtatious” conversations between her ex-boyfriend, Anthony Jennings, and his on-screen partner, Maris Racal, which she claimed led to their breakup.

It can be recalled that Anthony recently spoke about confirming his breakup with Jam, where the actor admitted his shortcomings in their relationship. However, he clarified that there is nothing romantic between him and Maris, emphasizing that they are just friends.

But based on the screenshots shared by Jam on her Instagram stories—allegedly her “receipts” of what transpired between her ex and Maris—there seems to be another side to the story.

Villanueva expressed the anguish she experienced as rumors spread and attacks on her character intensified. Although she initially chose to stay silent to safeguard her privacy, she eventually felt the need to break her silence to defend herself and her family.

“I can’t stay silent any longer,” she wrote, stating that revealing her truth was the only path to move forward. She stressed that her goal was not to stir up more drama but to reclaim her voice after months of staying silent.

Based on the receipts shared by Jam, it appears that Anthony and Maris were engaging in intimate conversations, which Anthony initially defended as “method acting”—a way for co-actors to build closeness, especially when required for their roles, such as playing a love team.

It can be recalled that the partnership between Maris and Anthony began due to their on-screen chemistry in the series “Can’t Buy Me Love,” where they were paired as “SnoRene.” Their tandem has since been officially named “MaThon.”

In her initial statement, Jam explained that she decided to reveal her side to share her truth about what transpired between her and Anthony, which also involved Maris.

Ultimately, the root of it all was Jam’s decision to break up with Anthony after discovering and reading exchanges between him and Maris that, according to her, went beyond the bounds of a professional relationship.
