Sharon Cuneta wanted a better childhood for KC Concepcion

12 Sep – Sharon Cuneta recently admitted that she feels a bit regretful that she wasn’t able to give daughter KC Concepcion the happy normal childhood that she deserved.

As reported on Inquirer, the actress, who spoke about her daughter recently during an appearance on “Gandang Gabi, Vice!”, stated that she would have given KC all that if everything was in her hands, instead of letting her daughter grow up in the midst of her rocky marriage with Gabby Concepcion, which only lasted only three years.

“It seems as if we dragged [KC] into the issue, and she was born in a situation that she didn’t choose and that hurts,” she said.

The actress stated that all she wanted at the time was for a happy marriage.

“At the time, I felt like I had found my prince in this fairy tale life of mine, and this is the height of it. I didn’t want anything else in life except for him and our child,” she said.

When host Vice Ganda assured Cuneta that KC would understand the most that her mother wouldn’t want to hurt her, Cuneta responded, “It just happened, which she didn’t deserve.”
