In an interview with GMANetwork.com, Artist Center talent Ervic Vijandre expressed his reaction to the recent wedding of his former girlfriend Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes.

He said, “Pag may happy ending na nangyari or eventually ‘yung relasyon nila, nag-end up together sila, as in marriage, ganyan, syempre kahit sino naman magiging happy. So I’m just happy for them.”

For now, the cager-turned-actor who had a six-year romance with the Kapuso Primetime Queen has decided to remain single.

“Lagi na lang, pag nagiging single ako, parang depressed ako. Iniisip ko malungkot dahil mag-isa ako,” he shared.

And so, his friend advised him, “Sinabi niya lang sa akin na i-try ko raw na mag-enjoy on my own. Kasi hindi mo kailangan ng kasama para maging happy, na may girlfriend ka or may partner ka. Dapat ma-enjoy mo muna ‘yung sarili mo.”

“Masabi mo muna sa sarili mo na masaya ka bago ka pumasok sa relasyon. Kasi hindi kailangan ng babae para makumpleto ‘yung kasiyahan mo,” he continued.

Ervic spends more time as a kuya in his family. He is also busy with the upcoming Kapuso afternoon drama series Kailan Ba Tama Ang Mali?

“‘Yun ‘yung isa sa mga tina-try ko ngayon sa sarili ko. Kung dadating siya, dadating, pero hindi ko na parang ipipilit. Hangga’t maaari i-enjoy ko muna ang sarili ko. Kung dumating siya along the way, ‘yun,” he continued. — GMANetwork.com
