Kapuso TV host Iya Villania-Arellano shared how she felt before the birth of their baby number 5 by Drew Arellano, Baby Anya. According to Iya, she couldn’t help feeling fear before her birth, an emotion that is often ignored.

In a post Iya shared on social media, she connects her photo, which excludes Primo and Leon, as well as her husband Drew (because she took the photo). Iya said that while the photo contained happy memories, she felt a deep fear in her heart, not knowing what the outcome of her birth would be.

“Although this pic is missing Primo and Leon (okay, and the hubs coz he took the pic), I remember savoring this moment with fear in my heart not knowing how delivery might unfold,” ayon sa kanya. Hindi raw siya negatibong tao, ngunit hindi niya maiwasang mag-isip ng mga posibleng masamang mangyari.

“I’m not a negative person but I couldn’t help but fear the possibility of not making it back home to these guys or of any other possible misfortune if you only knew how much I fear delivery,” dagdag pa niya.

She also said that she knows she is not the only one who is afraid of this. She said her mother had concerns about the birth. When Baby Anya came and things happened that she hoped would be light and positive, it gave her a lot of relief and gratitude.

“If you know of all the possibilities during delivery then you too would understand,” aniya.

As he was thrilled to be touched and found the opportunity to witness Anya’s arrival, he felt deeply grateful.

“Seeing and holding Anya and knowing we’ll be reunited with her very excited siblings soon brings me so much relief and gratitude,” saad pa niya sa kanyang post.

He points out that despite all the worries and doubts, he experienced God’s grace at every moment of his life, especially with his children.

He also expressed his gratitude to God for the blessings and the life he had given them.

Sinabi niya, “God truly has been so gracious and faithful and I can only hope that I live a life that will honor Him.”

He declared that he would not attack it for granted and looked at every day that passes as an opportunity to be grateful and to be happy.

Finally, Iya laughed and mentioned that her hormonal condition and the effect of the endorphins from post-delivery, accompanied by a wake-up call and a deep relief and gratitude.

“Excuse the fragile hormones I’m running on endorphins from post delivery, mixed with puyat and a whole lot of relief and gratitude,” pahayag pa ni Iya, na nagbigay ng lighthearted na tono sa kanyang mga saloobin.
