Jake Ejercito, Kian Delos Santos at Rodrigo Duterte

Kapamilya actor Jake Ejercito has brought to life the memory of Kian Delos Santos, one of the young victims of the war on drugs in the administration of former President Rodrigo Duterte.

Duterte has been arrested by operatives of the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group for his “crimes against humanity.”

On his social media account, Jake shared a photo of Kian where he captioned his meeting “That’s right! That’s right. I have a test tomorrow.”

That was not the last word of teenager Kian who was shot to death in an anti-drug operation by authorities in Caloocan, now eight years later.

The caption on the post reads, “The wrong one is paid, and now it’s charging.”

Many people agree with Jake’s words. This is not the same as the other comments we read.

“Couldn’t be happening to a more deserving person! The world is healing!
#bestdayever.”

“They’re the ones who are unhinged. Not to the airport. You don’t need to say goodbye.”

“This is why I admire you Jake Ejercito! You speak up. You put your name and  your profession on the line no matter what the cost.”

“We need more people like you in the entertainment industry. Time for justice!”

“He’s really going to be involved if he’s into human rights. No one wants to be a victim of the innocent lives, especially those who have dreams. You’re serious about being blind?!???.”

“Jake, consistently in the right side of history. Salamat sa pag tindig!”

“This is why I admire you, Jake Ejercito! You speak up. You put your name and your profession on the line no matter what the cost. We need more people like you in the entertainment industry. Time for justice!”

“Kaya mahal kita Jake Ejercito eh. Justice is being served right in front of us.”

In August 2017, Kian Delos Santos was shot and killed after being accused of being involved in an anti-drug operation.

But it was a shock to those who witnessed the shooting of the teenager.

Three police officers were found guilty of murder.
