James Reid Admits He, Nadine Lustre Are Still Close

Actor-singer James Reid admitted that he and his ex-girlfriend actress-singer Nadine Lustre are still close until now.



James and Nadine broke up more than two years ago. When they announced that they ended their almost 4-year relationship, Manny JaDine fans were saddened.

However, unlike many breakups in showbiz, James and Nadine’s breakup did not became controversial. It was probably because they did not throw mean comments against each other and they have remained friends until now.

Based on the article in the Philippines’ Ultimate Showbiz Hub, James Reid said that she is aware that his and Nadine Lustre’s photos together went viral.

“Of course [I’m aware of it]. I see them on social media. They were just happy to see us back together,” the actor-singer said. Even though their romantic relationship has ended in 2020, the former couple’s friendship with each other is still intact.

“We’re still very close. And, we’re still working very closely together as well,” James said. The music career of Nadine is being handled by James’s company, Careless Music.

The actor-singer admitted in a previous interview that he is single right now, and this is his personal choice. It is because he is now focused on his music career. He is set to release his brand new EP for his fans this coming September.

James Reid and his team are also manager the career of actress Liza Soberano as she aims to penetrate the Hollywood scene.

Meanwhile, Nadine Lustre is now in a relationship with Filipino-French businessman Christophe Bariou. He who owns a resort in in the surfing capital of the Philippines, Siargao. Early this year, the actress-singer confirmed their relationship and that was months after they were rumored to be dating in 2021.
