Julia Barretto Breaks Silence On Reconciliation With Bea Alonzo

Julia Barretto and Bea Alonzo’s reconciliation catches the attention of showbiz fans

Viva artist Julia Barretto broke her silence on her reconciliation with Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo.



Julia and Bea had an issue when the former was linked to actor Gerald Anderson, the latter’s ex-boyfriend. The Viva artist posted an open letter for the Kapuso actress to defend her side. Gerald was accused of cheating with Julia and Bea was seen liking posts about this issue. Bea and Gerald broke up in 2019.

In 2021, Gerald confirmed his relationship with Julia and netizens recalled Bea’s statement that “Time is the ultimate truth teller.”

In March this year, Julia Barretto and Bea Alonzo were spotted laughing and having fun at a party. This made netizens happy as the two actresses reconciled after many years of not talking to each other.

Gerald reacted to this reconciliation between Julia and Bea. He said that indeed time heals all wounds. In a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, Julia was asked about what happened between her and Bea.

Julia said that she felt peace in her heart when that reconciliation happened. “The world is healing. For me, yes [the world is really healing when that happened]. Siyempre, I’m gonna personally speak for myself because I never wanna speak for anybody else. It’s a moment that, of course, bina-value ko,” she said.

She also said that there are a lot of people asking her about the reconciliation but she does not want to reveal the details because she does not want it to look like an ingenuine moment.

“Siyempre it’s a really real moment, di ba?” the Viva artist stressed. She added that the reconciliation had a great effect on her. For her, this was some sort of closure with the people in the past. “Hoping that it also gives them peace,” Julia Barretto said.
