Kiko Pangilinan Says Relationship w/ KC Concepcion Is ‘Work in progress’

Kiko Pangilinan spoke about the status of his relationship with his stepdaughter

Former Senator Kiko Pangilinan said that his relationship with his stepdaughter actress KC Concepcion is still a work in progress.



KC is the daughter of Megastar Sharon Cuneta and seasoned actor Gabby Concepcion. In the past, KC would share her bonding moments with her half-siblings and her stepdad.

However, in 2023, netizens noticed that KC unfollowed Kiko and Frankie Pangilinan on Instagram which prompted speculations that a conflict happened between them.

When asked about this, KC Concepcion shared that she unfollowed her stepdad and half-sister because she was guarding her peace of mind. Even though she did that, KC stressed that she would never unlove them. With this, it was said that Sharon was “naiipit.”

In a recent interview on the YouTube channel of Kapamilya journalist Karen Davila, based on the article in Pang-Masa, Sharon Cuneta mentioned the reconciliation she had with her eldest daughter during the holidays. She mentioned in her post that she hoped to have a better relationship with KC. On Sharon’s birthday, KC wrote a sweet message for her mom.

“Over the Holidays, we got to talk after two years,” Sharon shared. However, she said honestly that KC and Kiko’s relationship is not yet completely okay. Sharon, on the other hand, is hopeful that her husband and her eldest daughter will eventually reconcile.

“It’s a work in progress,” Kiko Pangilinan said and his wife agreed that these are the right words to say about this. The Megastar added that Kiko loves KC so much.

Meanwhile, in the same interview, Sharon shared that politics is the usual topic of her conflict with Kiko. However, they were able to continue being together because of the respect that they have for each other.
