Maggie Wilson Favored By Court, Victor Consunji’s Petition Rejected

In a series of Instagram stories, Maggie Wilson shared a piece of good news.

Famous personality Maggie Wilson shares that the petition filed by her estranged husband prohibiting her from seeing her son was denied.

On Mother’s Day last year, Maggie Wilson lamented about not being with her son, the reason why she became a mother. She has not seen her son for such a long time and to celebrate something without the core that made her the mother that she is now, she felt robbed.

“I am a mother but I have been robbed of being able to be a mother,” Wilson expressed in a post amid the issues.

Maggie and Victor Consunji’s separation was announced in 2021 with their marriage ending after 11 years. She wasn’t able to see her son and she has been posting about her son for a lot of time before but the notice for protection order she received made her do it less.

Recently, in a series of Instagram posts, she shared some good news. According to her, she received a decision from the court and it stated that the petition for a Temporary and a Permanent Protection Order under the Anti-Violence Against Women and their Children Act filed by Consunji against her was denied.

This petition was made by her ex-husband Victor Consunji to prevent her from seeing or communicating with her son. Since their separation, their son has been staying with him and the petition was on the basis that she is a “threat” to his mental and physical well-being.

“Despite several testimonies including the likes of Marc Nelson, who testified on his knowledge on behalf of the petitioner Victor Consunji of how my son suffered emotional stress, anxiety, and annoyance due to me, were all denied by the family court of the Republic of the Philippines,” Wilson said in one of her posts.

She added that this exercise also put her son, who’s only 12 years old, on the stand. The court acknowledged that the social media posts she shared were just the love and longing of a mother to her son and she, as a respondent, missed her son, nothing more, nothing less.

There was no evidence that she “committed psychological violence against her son” and there’s no reason to prohibit her from communicating with her son as it is her right and duty as his mother.

“I’d like to apologize for the behavior of my ex-husband for yet again wasting the court’s valuable time,” she added.
