Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera has finally revealed the reason why she decided to take a break from social media.



These past few weeks, the actress has not posted any updates on her social media accounts. Speculations surfaced that the reason behind this was that it was a way to show that she does not want her husband Dingdong Dantes to enter politics.

To recall, rumors circulated that the Kapuso Primetime King is being encouraged to run for Senator in the 2022 elections. However, Dingdong debunked these rumors.

In a recent interview on Unang Hirit, Marian Rivera revealed the reason why she had to pause from using social media for three weeks. She said that she needed rest with her family amid the challenges they are facing due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Nagpapasalamat din ako sa asawa ko, sabi niya, ‘siguro, Mahal, kailangan nating makahinga nang konti,” the actress said. They had a short vacation that made them revitalized again.

Marian took that time to enjoy every moment with her kids and her husband. She shared that it was a way of giving attention to the mental health of her children as they have to face a different situation now.

“Alam namin gustung-gusto nila makalabas, lalung-lalo na si Zia. Siyempre, nag-school siya before parang ang dami pa rin niyang question, ‘kelan aalis ang COVID?’ Kelan daw siya makaka-ganito, ganyan,” the celebrity mom said.

Marian Rivera is thankful that even for a short period of time, she and Dingdong Dantes were able to have a well-deserve vacation with their kids.
