How true is it that actress Nadine Lustre refused to do a series with Korean actor Sang Heon Lee because she did not agree with the talent fee?

Nadine has proven her acting caliber with critically acclaimed movies. She has proven also that she can shine outside the shadow of loveteam. In a recent article by Pilipino Star Ngayon showbiz writer Salve Asis, it was said that Nadine Lustre was offered to do a movie with Korean actor Sang Heon Lee, who was part of the cast of the Netflix series XO, Kitty.

Just recently, the Korean actor shared a post on Instagram showing that he was actress Julia Barretto and they were filming a “secret project.” Julia reposted this on her Instagram page.

Asis shared that this project will be released on the streaming platform Viu and allegedly, Julia’s role was first offered to Nadine.

However, the writer’s source revealed that Nadine did not agree with the talent fee that was offered to her. “Ayon sa isang source, ayaw diumanong mag-adjust ni Nadine sa kanyang talent fee, gusto raw nito ay ‘yung talent fee pa rin niya before pandemic,” Asis shared.

It was said that the producer did not negotiate anymore with Nadine and started to find a replacement. Then, the role was offered to Julia and she immediately accepted it. Asis also mentioned that Nadine appeared to be more focused now on collaborations with brands and it was said projects like these pay more than doing a movie project.
