The actress would sometimes share glimpses of their bonding moment on her Instagram page. Previously, Chris was asked about his first impression when he met Nadine. He shared that he already found her cute in that instance but he thought that Nadine was still into her work while spending vacation with her friends because she was on her laptop while others were relaxing.

Two years after Nadine Lustre confirmed her relationship with Christophe Bariou, engagement rumors surfaced.

In an Instagram post on November 10, the actress shared a series of photos. The first photo showed a written message she received from her boyfriend which stated, “Can’t wait to discover and conquer the world with you.”

This was followed by their aesthetic solo photos and their photos together on their surfing boards in the middle of the sea. The last slide featured the closeup photo of Christophe.

“Man, oh man, you’re my best friend I scream it to the nothingness,” the actress wrote in the caption of her post. In the comment section, netizens speculated that this seemed to be an engagement post.
