Kapamilya actress Nadine Lustre reacted on the allegations that she is a copycat of Ericka Villongco, the ex-girlfriend of her boyfriend James Reid.

This copying issue between Ericka and Nadine has been circulating on social media for quite some time now.

Previously, the ex-girlfriend of James posted a meaningful tirade intended to someone who is blatantly copying her style. For Ericka, the act of copying her is quite annoying already.

After this viral post from the vlogger, Nadine Lustre posted a blurry photo of her with the caption “u sure u ok?” and netizens started to speculate that this was her answer to Ericka.

Following this, a netizen called out Ericka’s attention when Nadine posted another “sort of identical” photo to what she posted much earlier.

The vlogger then said on her post, “my straps will tell you how close i am to losing my sh** [laughing emoji] imitation is the sincerest form of flattery”.

In line with this copycat issue, Nadine Lustre has finally broken her silence. Based on the report from Philippine Entertainment Portal, the Kapamilya actress answered copying allegations against her.

When asked what she feels when netizens concluded that she is copying the style of Ericka Villongco, she said: “No, no, parang wala.”

According to the report, Nadine was smiling while answering the question. She also said that she has her own style.

“I think I have my own style and I look for inspiration, like from other celebrities—Hollywood celebrities,” the actress said, based on the report.

Nadine added, “And I think I have my own individuality naman so I don’t see anything na parang… na parang kokopyahin ko.”
