Nadine Lustre Speaks About “Nagkabalikan” Rumors w/ James Reid

NADINE LUSTRE – Kapamilya actress Nadine Lustre shares the real score between her and James Reid over a year after they broke up.

Early last year, Kapamilya stars and love team who are also together in real life, James Reid and Nadine Lustre, announced through a joint and official statement to Tonight With Boy Abunda that they have decided to separate nearly four years after being together. She quashed the rumored reasons circulating online and expressed that their decision to focus on their own careers and personal growth prompted the split.

However, despite the split, there are instances that they are still spotted together going trips out of town and making music despite their breakup. For the people online, this is quite odd because usually, couples after break up refrain from talking and seeing each other to help them easily move on from their failed relationship. But it seems like it’s not the same case with Nadine and James. The incidents of them together after their apparent split ignited rumors that they have gotten back together.

With the rumors about their rekindled romance, Nadine finally spoke about their real score. In a magazine feature and interview, she revealed that she’s still in the process of healing over the sad fate of their relationship. Her statement popped the rumors that they are together again. To recall, they previously hiked together, Nadine released her “Wildest Dreams” album under his music label, and she co-wrote his latest single “Soda”.

She opened up that before, she tends to easily just shut off people regardless of who they are in her life because she fears to be left behind. But as time went by, she learned that she cannot do this all the time. She learned to feel the pain and go on with the process of healing because it’s the only way she can fully let go of something without heavy feelings.

“Of course, I won’t stop myself from feeling sad. That’s also four years of being together….it’s not like I’m not going to cry,” she said. However, it is also her belief that once one thing is done and over, the next thing to do is to move on.
