Actress Nadine Lustre showcased her “Deleter” makeup at the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2022 and her makeup artist Jelly Eugenio shared the story behind this.



The Deleter lead star won the Best Actress trophy during this year’s MMFF Gabi ng Parangal. Nadine shared the Stars of the Night recognition with Best Actor Ian Veneracion.

In her speech, the actress thanked her boyfriend Christophe Bariou, and everyone she worked with in the film. Deleter also won Best Picture and Best Director. Nadine’s boyfriend shared his reaction to her recent acting award. Christophe said that he never doubted the actress’s ability.

One thing noticeable in Nadine Lustre during the awards night was her makeup. There were small golden letters spelled “Deleter” across her face. In an Instagram post, her makeup artist Angelo Jelly Eugenio talked about this.

He said that this is probably the favorite makeup he has done this year because it has meaning. Jelly shared that this idea has been saved for a year already. “I just needed to know which name it would be,” he said.

When the makeup artist saw the trailer of Deleter, he immediately decided to use this idea on Nadine’s makeup. He also shared a deeper meaning in this. Jelly said that this year is a tough one for him but he is still happy and he wants to create a look that makes his heart happy.

Nadine’s makeup artist also shared that this look was supposed to be featured during the movie’s premiere night but he lost all the tiny letters. Then, Jelly said that it was meant to be featured during the awards night. This received applause from other celebrities.
