Actress-singer Nadine Lustre reacted to the bashing that she received for saying that she is listening to her own songs.



Nadine has become more active in her music career these past two years. She has recorded some songs under her ex-boyfriend James Reid’s record label Careless Music. She also had a virtual concert titled Absolute Madness this year.

Her fans have been anticipating the latest updates in her music career as in the past years, she has focused on doing acting stints. However, even her love for her own music did not escape from the eyes of her critics.

Based on the article in Manila Bulletin, Nadine Lustre answered her bashers who are shaming her for listening to her own songs. Her critics think that she is “narcissistic”. Reportedly, the actress-singer shared in her previous social media post that she is one of the top five artists she listens to in the past year.

She also said that she binge-listen to her songs on Spotify and she rated herself as “ayt”. Apparently, this did not sit well with her bashers who thought that it was like a form of narcissism.

With this, Nadine fired back at her bashers. In her recent Twitter post, she wrote, “Come back when ya’ll find a VALID reason for hating me.” After this, she questioned those who are bashing her for enjoying her own song.

“Why tf am I being shamed for listening to my own stuff? Is that fr? (face with tears of joy emoji)” Nadine Lustre said. Her fans rally behind her and showed support for her craft. Some even said that they want to know the identities of her bashers so that they can defend her.
