Nadine Lustre Flattered About “The Next Big Star” Tag

One of the famous young actresses today, Nadine Lustrre said she feels flattered abut being tagged as “The Next Big Star,” noting that she has still a lot of things to improve in her craft.

In an interview with reporters, Nadine Lustre said she is happy and honored that people are calling her as “The Next Big Star” although she only got her big break few months ago.

“It’s very flaterring na ‘the next big star’ [ang tawag sa akin], kasi parang I’ve been here for just a few months palang since ‘Diary ng Panget.’ Sobrang saglit palang, wala pang one year and then na-ta-tag na ako as ‘the next big star.’ I’m very honored na iyon ang iniisip ng ibang tao sa akin,” she said.

Nadine Lustre came to prominence though the box-office movie “Diary ng Panget” in April this year, which also stars her onscreen partner James Reid. After the success of the movie, they starred again in the film “Talk Back And You’re Dead.”

The Viva Artists, who were launched as the newest Kapamilya stars in August, top-billed also the recently concluded top-rating “Wanspanatym” miniseries “My App Boyfie.”

The 21-year-old star was recently introduced also the newest endorser of the fast-food chain, Jollibee. She joined the ranks of “Mira Bella” star Julia Barretto and Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo.

Nadine Lustre said she will work hard and continue what he is doing since she received a lot of good feedback from people. “I’ll just keep working hard and keeping doing what I do, kasi it’s working so far, Maganda ‘yung nagiging feedback sa akin ng mga tao, natutuwa sila sa akin. I’ll keep doing that,” she said.
