Nadine Lustre, ayaw nang umalis ng Siargao kung may choice lang; “I realized that I’m so much more at peace when I’m there.”

Ani Nadine Lustre, Siargao living can make you appreciate the basics of life more. “After a couple of weeks being on the island, I realized like I was making life so complicated—so much more complicated than what it really is. Life is so simple there.”

For the first time ay with audio na nagbigay ng reaction ang aktres na si Nadine Lustre tungkol sa mga nagsulputang online memes niya na base sa nag-viral n’yang photo last August na tila isang panakaw na snap shot kung pinakita siyang bumibili s’ya ng lechon sauce sa isang mini grocery store sa Siargao.

Ani Nadine, ikina-aliw din daw niya ito. Sinabi n’ya ang reaksyon sa guesting niya sa “All Out” radio and online interview n’ya with DJ Rico Robles on Monster Radio RX93.1 last November 5.

Isa kasing fan ang nagpadala ng tanong kung ano daw ba ang reaction n’ya ng mag-viral ang kanyang photo na sinundan ng sari-saring memes mula sa mga netizens.

Hindi daw inakala ng aktres na magti-trending ang stolen shot n’yang ’yon kung saan napakapayak umano ng kanyang hitsura.

“I’m super entertained by it because, you know, it’s something so simple. I’m just buying sarsa from the store and I couldn’t believe it could get so much attention from a lot of people,” tsika ni Nadine

“I am enjoying the manipulations of people beside me or people reenacting it when they were in Siargao,” dagdag-kwento pa niya. “I saw a bunch. And there’s this other guy who dressed up as me for Halloween.

“It’s really something super amusing to me. I just loved it. I’m a meme person so I really enjoyed it.”

Natanong din si Nadine kung ano’ng meron sa isla ng Siargao at tumagal ng dalawang buwan ang pamamalagi n’ya doon.

K’wento n’ya, may kasama daw s’yang mga kaibigan nang magpunta s’ya doon. Bukod pa roon ay doon na rin daw kasi naka-base ang dalawa pa n’yang kaibigan.

“I was able to go to Siargao with a couple of friends in July. I have a couple of friends living in the island as well for quite a while now so it just makes sense to fly there than any other place in the Philippines,” pagbabalik-tanaw n’ya.

Pag dating na pag dating n’ya daw sa isla ay nabighani na s’ya at kung may choice lang ay ayaw na daw n’yang umuwi pa ng Maynila.

“It’s just that as soon as we arrive I already had this feeling na parang, ‘Man, you know, I don’t want to leave.’ Because it’s close to nature. There’s mountain, there’s the beach. You can hike there anytime you want. It’s just the perfect place for me to live in,” lahad pa ng aktres sa virtual interview.

“As soon as I got there, I was already telling my friends like, ‘You know what? I feel like I don’t want to leave. I feel like I want to live here.’ And then fast forward to a couple of months, it happened.”

Naging maayos din daw ang pakikitungo sa kanya ng mga tao doon kahit na isa pa s’yang celebrity.

“You know what? Honestly, everyone is so respectful on the island,” aniya. “I think they’ve already gotten used to it already by now.

“Some places, obviously, you know, it still gets them super excited when they see celebrities or well-known people…which is not really ano naman…I don’t really mind.”

At sa tagal ng pamamalagi n’ya sa Siargao ay na-appreciate n’ya daw ang kasimplehan ng buhay doon.

“After a couple of weeks being on the island, I realized like I was making life so complicated—so much more complicated than what it really is.

“Life is so simple there. I just get on my bike, go to a restaurant or go to the beach. The beach is like five minutes away, ten minutes away. Or if I want to go hiking a little bit, I just go to a mountain and, you know, be in nature.

“And I realized that I’m so much more at peace when I’m there,” pagtatapos ni Nadine.

Sa ngayon ay nakasalang na si Nadine sa lock-in shoot para sa kanyang upcoming film with Viva Films, kung saan katambal n’ya si Diego Loyzaga.
