Nadine Lustre Hopes To Have Acting Project with Vilma Santos

Nadine Lustre recalled the first project she did with the Star for all Seasons

Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2022 Best Actress Nadine Lustre shared that she wants to have an acting project once again with veteran actress Vilma Santos who is dubbed Star for all Seasons.

Nadine’s acting in the movie Deleter received praise from moviegoers not just from the MMFF jurors. The said movie also got the highest recognition during the Gabi ng Parangal as it was hailed as the Best Film.

During the thanksgiving party for the movie’s achievement, based on the article in PUSH, Nadine expressed happiness and gratitude for the result of all their hard work.

“Grabe I’m very happy of course with the result of Deleter. We’re just very, very grateful; puro pasasalamat, Feeling ko nga parang na akong sirang plaka kaka-thank you dahil wala talaga akong masabi kundi, thank you!” Nadine Lustre said.

Then, she was asked who among the showbiz personalities she wants to work with in the future. Without hesitation, Nadine answered, “Si Ate Vi (Vilma Santos).”

She recalled that she was able to work with the Star for all Seasons many years ago. It was for an episode of the defunct Kapamilya drama anthology Maalaala Mo Kaya. In the said episode, Nadine said that she also worked with Maja Salvador.

“Parang sobrang every time na nakikita ko siya actually kahit noong MMFF awards na nakita ko siya gusto ko siyang yakapin,” Nadine said about Ate Vi. On the other hand, the actress said that she has not watched all the projects that the seasoned actress made but working with someone like her is indeed an honor.

Nadine also shared that when she had the chance to work with Vilma for the first time, she was so young at that time and so she has not appreciated the seasoned actress as much as she appreciates her now.

She added that she is also open to the possibility of working with Superstar and National Artist Nora Aunor. Nadine Lustre said that she is open to collaborating with anyone, especially with the legends.
