The daughter of former couple Ogie Alcasid and Michelle Van Eimeren is now engaged and these are their reactions to it.

OPM icon Ogie Alcasid’s daughter Leila is now engaged to Mito Fabie aka Curtismith. The eldest child of Alcasid announced on Instagram on Sunday, September 29, that she’s getting married to her boyfriend. She shared some photos including the one where she’s wearing the ring with the huge stone.

“the most special anniversary gift,” Leila said in her caption.

As she shared her life’s newest milestone via a social media post on Sunday, her parents reacted. Ogie wrote in the comments, “The Lord bless you both. I am truly beyond happy for you two. Love you. Congratulations.”

Michelle Van Eimeren shared the post of her daughter on her IG story and expressed her happiness for them. She said, “Congratulations on your engagement. Love you both.”

Celebrities like Gabbi Garcia, Nadine Lustre, Bea Soriano, Darren Espanto, Hannah Pangilinan, Gab Valenciano, Laureen, and Camille Co expressed their congratulations and best wishes for the couple.

Previously, Curtismith shared that he would love to tie the knot with his then-girlfriend now-fiancé. But at that time, he admitted to make enough money first to be able to do this.

To recall, the couple have been living together ever since the pandemic began in 2020. In a previous article, Ogie admitted feeling hurt about the set-up at first as they did not tell him but eventually, he embraced it and accepted them. He realized that the parents’ role in their children’s lives is to give guidance.

Leila is one of Ogie’s two daughters with his former wife. She moved to the Philippines in 2017 to pursue a music career and it was in 2019 when they started to be open about their relationship.
