Oh my god, Nadine Lustre made a GL movie with Kathryn Bernardo
Seemingly past their teeny-bopper roles, it’s obvious that among today’s biggest stars, Kathryn Bernardo and Nadine Lustre are two women who are out of their comfort zones.
Seen as embarking on roles that are a breath of fresh air from their previous ones, it looks like the future is brighter than ever for these two actresses and their individual careers. Case in point: the recent success of Kath’s A Very Good Girl film, and Nadine’s Deleter.
That said, netizens couldn’t help but root for the two to be in a project together. A sapphic film, perhaps? To which, Nadine had a response. Asked about the possibility of doing a remake of the film T-Bird at Ako (which previously starred two of the most prolific actresses of their time Nora Aunor and Vilma Santos) with Kath, she shared her thoughts, despite having reservations about the level of intimacy required for a GL film.
“It’s very challenging. Especially because you know, with all the movies na ganito or all the projects na ganito, especially if you’re uncomfortable with that kind of intimacy ano.
“I mean kung parang kayo kayo na lang, medyo nakakailang. Kasi I’ve had an experience before na may ganyan, and that’s why I know I’m really straight. Kasi naka-experience ako ng ganyan but then again, uhm yun lang. Magiging challenging lang dyan for me is the level of comfortability.”
“But, ako naman, I’m always game for challenges, you know.”
Aww. Fingers crossed for a project together, Kath and Nadine. We’ll be keeping an eye out!
