Paolo Contis Fears His Daughters Will Date Someone Like Him

Paolo Contis shared his thoughts about his daughters’ future

Kapuso actor Paolo Contis revealed that his greatest fear is that his daughters will fall in love with someone like him.

Paolo has come a long way since he started his career in the Philippine entertainment industry. He was once a child star who made many viewers cry through his dramatic scenes. The actor also showed versatility with his comedic stints.

He achieved longevity as he is still now doing different showbiz projects. His personal life or love life is as colorful as his roles onscreen.

Paolo Contis has his fair share of controversial moments in the industry. He has two daughters with his ex-wife Lian Paz and a daughter with his ex-partner LJ Reyes.

In a recent interview on Your Honor, based on the article in Inquirer, the Kapuso actor shared that he has been preparing himself for the time when his daughters would enter into relationships.

However, there is something about this that he is really afraid of and it is when his daughters would fall in love with partners who are just like him. “‘Yun ang number one na ikinakatakot ko,” the actor said.

When asked about his reaction when his daughters would fall in love with someone who is like his younger self, he said that he would slap them. He also said that initially, the goal is that he wants someone like him to be the suitors of his daughters but he definitely has a different thought now.

“Sadly, you make mistakes. Now, masasabi ko na ‘yung Paolo mga 10 or 15 years ago, naku. Diyos ko Lord. Sasampalin ko talaga ‘yan,” Paolo Contis said.

The actor added that now he is 40 years old, he is hoping that change for the better will happen to him. He said that he is now in the process of improvement.

Meanwhile, back in January 2023, Paolo made a statement that his biggest fear is that his daughter will hate him. A recent rumor surfaced that his supposed ex-girlfriend Yen Santos gave birth to a baby girl.
