Does Kim Chiu have a conflict with Bea Alonzo?

Chinita Princess Kim Chiu explained the viral video she posted about a photo that was removed from the ABS-CBN lobby and this sparked speculations that she and Kapuso A-list actress Bea Alonzo are not in good terms.

To recall, netizens easily concluded that the photo that was removed was Bea’s. This did not sit well with fans of the Kapuso star as Kim was heard laughing and joking about this with her It’s Showtime co-host Amy Perez.

Through her social media post, Kim Chiu did not directly address the issue but instead, she called out the showbiz site that first posted about this saying that intrigue was created from that.

In a recent interview for her new movie, based on the article in Bandera, the Chinita Princess was asked about this again. She said that it was just a “katuwaan” between her and Amy Perez but the removed photo was easily identified.

“Sobra kayo! Katuwaan lang namin, nilagyan kaagad ng pangalan, buti sana kung ibang tao ‘yun.  ‘Yun nga natakot din ako do’n.  ‘Yun pala ‘yun, bakit sinabi ko ba kung sino ‘yun (tinanggal) wala naman, sila lang (netizens) naglagay ng meaning,” she said.

In a one-on-one interview, Kim explained that at that she and Amy were preparing for their ‘Magpasikat’ performance but they weren’t allowed to use fire in their production number and so this made them more nervous.

“Tapos nagkataon (nakita) nagtanggalan ng pictures. Tapos sabi namin kay Kuya, sino ‘yan?  Sino diyan?  E, hindi sinasabi kung sino,” she explained. When asked if there is rift between her and Bea Alonzo, Kim Chius said, “Wala naman kaming isyu.”

The Chinita Princess added that fans are just protective and she understands this. She also said that she just happened to know whose photo was taken out when write-ups about this circulated.

“Parang binaba lang naman siya kapag…hindi ko po alam eh, kasi hindi naman ako ang nag-uutos kung sino ang tanggalin. Nagkataon lang na nakita namin ni Tyang Amy.“Sabi rin ni Direk Lauren (Dyogi) bakit kasi nagtanggal nang tanghali, napahamak tuloy ‘to,” Kim said while pointing at herself.
