As they say, marriage, having a child together, and others do not guarantee that a couple to stay together forever. It takes a lot to cement a relationship and sometimes, separation is the only best way to do it to preserve what was left.

Internet personalities Riva Quenery and Vern Flores Ong, despite their separation, did not have any bitter feelings or emotions over it. Instead, they looked at the brighter side of everything and found gratitude and love.

After all, they started well, the intentions were pure, and thought of marrying each other already but some plans just don’t happen as we want them to.

Through their Instagram stories, each of them penned love-filled and grateful messages for each other. They are grateful for the journey and the road they traveled together. The pair also clarified that no third party is involved in their split.

“Thank you, Vern. Thank you for the five beautiful years. While things didn’t turn out as we hoped, I still want you to know how much I appreciate the good moments we shared,” Riva expressed.

Despite their separation, she will still continue to cherish and support. During their time together, she learned so much to which her gratitude was coming from. He is a beautiful part of her story and their memories are what she will carry with her forever.

Vern, in his own message, expressed deep appreciation for Riva’s role in his life. She changed him to be a better person, son, sibling, partner, and father to their daughter Athena Rae Ong.

“I will always love you, and that will never change. My love for you only grew deeper when you became the amazing mother of our Athena,” he wrote to the woman whom he calls as his only girlfriend.

ern reflected on their time together, saying that there was not a bit of regret when he chased her including those moments she wanted to walk away. He added, “There was a time when every part of me belonged to you, and you were the only person I dreamed of growing old with.”
