Bea Alonzo denies secretly dating John Lloyd Cruz

The actress clarifies rumours about supposed rendezvous with Cruz in Hong Kong and Balesin

20 Apr – Actress Bea Alonzo has recently dismissed rumours linking her to onscreen partner John Lloyd Cruz.

As reported on PEP News, the actress, who appeared on the radio programme Mismo on DZMM, described her current status as “Single but happy.”

“That’s what Basha said,” said Alonzo, referring to her famous character from the film, “A Second Chance”.

She addressed rumours about a supposed rendezvous with Cruz in Hong Kong, saying that the two of them were indeed in the country at the same time earlier, but that it was to promote their movie, “A Second Chance”.

“John and I are close friends. I mean, we’ve been working together for so many years,” she said.

She also denied rumours that they met in Balesin recently, saying that she was in Palawan at the time Cruz was on the island.

Meanwhile, when asked if she would make a TV comeback soon, Alonzo, who was last seen on “Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon” alongside Paulo Avelino, said that she will begin filming a new one next month.
