Sharon Cuneta, in a recent video interview by PhilStar News, has revealed what is her biggest investment in recent years.

The Megastar also said that she considers this investment as her friend.

“Books are my biggest investments and purchases in recent years,” Shawie said.

“You can learn so much on YouTube, I do. But books are still a different friend,” she added.

Shawie also shared what others say about books.

“‘Sabi nga nila, if you want to read a really good book, go back to something you’ve already read before’. Kasi sometimes, ‘pag tapos na ‘yung isang napaka-galing na book, ‘pag natapos na, ano nang isusunod ko? I get that feeling, I’m sure, a lot of you do,” Sharon said.

“Reading is so important because for example, if you want to be a writer, you can’t be a writer unless you read a lot. Because things get stuck into your memory bank and you can come up with your own prose,” she added.

Mega also expressed excitement in becoming a senior citizen soon.

It can be recalled Sharon celebrated her 59th birthday just last January 6.

“Para mayroon na akong discount!” the Megastar said.

“Kasi when you turn 50, you can do things and not make excuses about them anymore. You’ve lived for half a century, parang you have the license na. Dati parang maingat parati… Mostly I’ve stuck to my values naman, parang almost what you see is what you get,” she further said.

“After 50, there’s more freedom in a sense… and after 50, I’m pushing 60, I’m more comfortable in my own skin because I’m happily married, because I’ve got great kids, and God has been so generous and gracious and faithful,” Sharon said.

Sharon Cuneta, commonly known as the ‘Megastar’ in the local showbiz industry, is a prominent veteran celebrity in the Philippines. She is also the mother of KC Concepcion, her daughter with fellow actor Gabby Concepcion. In 1996, she married Kiko Pangilinan.

Sharon also recently reflected on her 9-year weight loss journey which started in 2016. According to Sharon, it has been 9 years of ‘losing weight’ and ‘gaining weight again’. In her post, the Megastar talked about feeling disappointed and frustrated at times. Despite her experience, however, Sharon remains focused and determined to lose weight.

In a previous post, she also expressed happiness that she was finally the official fur mom of “Scout.” In an IG post, she revealed that Scout was among the furbabies at Pawssion Project. The Megastar also revealed that she met Scout only two days ago, along with other rescued pups, and now, the little furbaby is hers. While Sharon could not yet bring Scout home, she has already instructed those at Pawssion Project that she will be responsible for all his needs.
