RUFA MAE QUINTO – Comedian Rufa Mae Quinto clarified that no divorce has been filed between her and Trevor Magallanes, addressing rumors surrounding their relationship.



Rufa Mae Quinto recently addressed rumors regarding her marriage with Trevor Magallanes during her appearance on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on Friday, January 17. She clarified that no divorce has been filed between them, despite ongoing issues in their relationship.

The actress opened up about the struggles in their marriage, admitting that they are currently facing challenges but are still waiting for things to be resolved. “Bilang asawa, syempre inaantay ko lang na maklaro kami, mag-usap pa rin kung totoo ba talaga ‘yan ang nararamdaman n’ya,” she explained.

Rufa Mae Quinto acknowledged the complexities of their situation, citing her busy schedule and absence at home as contributing factors to their problems. “Pagod ako, lagi akong wala. Syempre, there’s always two sides of the story,” she added, showing understanding of Trevor’s perspective while emphasizing that she is not always in the right.

Rufa Mae also stressed that she would respect Trevor’s feelings if he decided to end their marriage. However, she made it clear that no legal action has been taken. “Walang nag-file ng divorce. So, hindi ako magpa-file kasi ang dami nang nag-file, nag-file na rin ako,” she said, pointing out her hesitance to file for divorce. She also expressed the emotional difficulty of such a decision, especially given their marriage in the Philippines.

The actress shared a heart-wrenching moment when her daughter, Athena, asked when their family would be together again, making the situation even more challenging to navigate. She praised Trevor as a good father and husband but noted that his preference for privacy and his non-showbiz lifestyle have contributed to the strain.

When Boy Abunda asked if she still loved Trevor, Rufa Mae answered affirmatively. “Oo naman, mahal ko siya,” she said, expressing her desire to reunite with her family.
