Enrile is the oldest member alive of the administration of the late former dictator Ferdinand Marcos Sr. Recently, amid the controversial arrest and transfer of the custody of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte to ICC, the former Senator took to social media a cryptic post.
Enrile’s post came amid the Duterte supporters asking for widespread national prayer rallies as they call for the return of FPRRD to the Philippines. He is currently detained at the Hague Penitentiary Institution in Netherlands.

Former Sen. Juan Ponce Enrile reacted to the prayer rally allegedly called by the people who have spoken ill against God. According to him, these people have blamed anyone but not themselves for their miseries out of their alleged hunger for power.
Here is the post of former Sen. Juan Ponce Enrile:

While former Sen. Juan Ponce Enrile has not directly named who he is referring to in the message, several netizens speculate and believed that he is referring to the Duterte family. To recall, there were several times when then Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte threw negative words against God on television.
The arrest of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte elicited different reactions from the people. There are those who question the legality of the procedures of his arrest amid Pres. Bongbong Marcos saying that Duterte’s arrest followed a legal procedure.
Malacañang also claimed that the government acted on the arrest of Duterte because of its commitment with the Interpol. The Palace defended that Marcos Jr. did not betray anyone over Duterte’s arrest.

Senator Bato dela Rosa tagged the arrest of former Pres. Duterte as “betrayal to the max” by Pres. Bongbong Marcos. According to him, in the event that the ICC will also issue a warrant of arrest against him, he will avail the protection that the Senate can provide to him.
The Duterte supporters also held a prayer rally as they called for the safe return and protection of former Pres. Duterte. He is currently detained at the Hague Penitentiary Institution.
Amid the calls of the supporters of the former President for his return to the country, Department of Justice or DOJ chief Boying Remulla said that the case of Duterte is a “done deal”.
