Will 2024 be the year that Anne Curtis and Jericho Rosales reunite for another project?

Well, that question has been running in our minds ever since Anne posted a photo with the actor in her Instagram feed. ICYMI, Anne posted a photo carousel of her “March dump.” Her post included short yet classy captions for each photo.

One of the striking photos that Anne shared showed that she had dinner with Echo and the famous Director Irene Villamor. Direk Irene is known to be the film director of numerous romance movies. Her most recent work was Five Breakups and a Romance, then Meet Me in St. Gallen, On Vodka, Beers, and Regrets, and Sid And Aya: Not A Love Story which Anne top-billed.

Anne captioned the photo and wrote, “when like minds collide.” It wasn’t really a confirmation nor a teaser to a movie per se, however, fans were very much delighted to see Anne and Echo together in one frame.

Some netizens hyped up the photo and asked if it was for an upcoming movie together. Perhaps, the movie was the first thing that came into their minds, especially since Direk Irene was also with the two celebrities.

“Anne and Echo movie na ba,” one netizen commented.

Another wrote, “Anne, I don’t know but I always have kilig effect from these two. Wishful thinking upcoming project. Mala-Green Rose.”

Anne Curtis and Jericho Rosales’ past works together

ICYDK, Anne and Jericho have already worked together. Their first team-up was for the 2008 historical period film called, Baler. Their film was an official entry to the 2008 Metro Manila Film Festival.

Echo expressed his happiness about working with Anne. “Excited ako na maka-work si Anne. I know that she’s very good and hardworking, not to mention very beautiful,” said the actor.

Anne also praised Echo for his acting chops and mentioned how she knew that Echo would give her a different experience when it comes to working out an onscreen chemistry. “I was excited po kasi never ko pa siyang nakaka-work and gusto ko iba-iba rin ang makapareha ko sa career ko kasi ibang partner, ibang chemistry. Iba rin ang makikita mo sa sarili mo. […] I know how him as an actor, alam ko po ang capability niya,” Anne told the press in 2008.

The second and last time they worked together was for the Philippine adaptation of the 2005 South Korean romance drama, Green Rose. Anne and Echo’s version was aired in 2011. Their onscreen chemistry worked like magic for their fans!
