Bea Alonzo and Jake Cuenca Talk About Their “Ligawan” Phase

Years ago, famous actors Bea Alonzo and Jake Cuenca faced rumors about their romantic relationship. However, it did not work out between the two of them. And now, in the latest Legit Lie Detector Challenge of the Kapuso actress, Cuenca appeared as her newest guest and the two of them made some confessions about their past.

“Na-in love ka ba sa akin?” was one of the questions the actress asked him. The question, based on the actor’s reaction seemed a bit heavy but he answered anyway.

“Wow, what a question! Yeah,” he quipped admitting to her that he did fall in love with her in the past. Bea, having Jake as her suitor, revealed something about him. She shared a narrative about his grand gesture to her before which she has not forgotten yet.

According to her, since she has experienced something like a prom, the actor did something to make her experience such with him. He rented Fusion Cuisine and she was welcomed with flowers. She can attest to how “magaling” and sweet Jake is which made him a good catch.

“Pagpasok namin, [nalaman ko] pinasarado niya pala yung restaurant, tapos ang daming mga flowers. Tapos nag-dance-dance pa kami,” she added.

For a time in the past, they dated but eventually, decided to be friends. They did not elaborate on the reason why it did not work out between the two of them but the Start Up PH actress expressed her happiness because they stayed connected and friends even up to this day.
