Laureen Uy Loses Baby, Suffers From Miscarriage

In an emotional post, Laureen Uy opens up about her miscarriage.

Social media influencer and content creator, Laureen Uy revealed that she and her husband Miggy Cruz lost their first baby.

A miscarriage is the loss of a pregnancy. This is common but the pain of a mother over this loss will always stay. Scientifically, there are many reasons that contribute to a miscarriage and there are several types of this.

But for Laureen Uy, these technicalities were not opened up when she shared in an emotional post that she and her husband Miggy Cruz lost their first baby. The baby was a girl they named Miles.

In a letter she wrote for her, she expressed the immense joy upon knowing her growing inside her and the love that instantly covered them in knowing that she was going to complete the family they dreamed of. It was a love they were never aware of before until Miles came.

Just like the other couple, their love and excitement grew with time and they did everything to give her a comfortable and safe growth inside her womb. They’ve already imagined wonderful things to do with Miles like holding her, kissing her, singing her to sleep, and bringing her with them as they explore the world but God had other plans.

“The day we learned your heart had stopped beating was the day ours shattered. It was the worst day of my life. I didn’t want to let you go—my body didn’t want to let you go. Even now, it feels like a nightmare I can’t wake up from. But this is our reality, and it’s a pain I never thought I’d have to bear.”

The content creator continued saying they will miss her every day including the talks they shared with her during their tummy time. She expressed her grief and for her, no words could ever describe the amount of pain caused by the loss.

Despite their tragic loss, Laureen highlighted their gratitude for being her parents even for a short time. They know that she is now in a place surrounded by peace and love and they trust that God has plans made for them for a future “where her memory will forever remain a part of their story”.
