‘The pain’: Ian de Leon, emotional message to mother Nora Aunor
MANILA – Ian de Leon became emotional when he gave a message to his mother Nora Aunor, the recognized “superstar” of Philippine showbiz.
In his live YouTube session this Sunday, December 13, titled “The Bitter Truth,” Ian shared why he did not attend the party his mother had prepared for him for his birthday.
Ian celebrated his 45th birthday just this December 11th.
According to Ian, he decided to give his side because of the hurtful words he received from other people.
According to Ian, he just wanted their mother’s reunion to be private after a long time.
“Mom, I love you so much. That won’t change. But it hurts. I can no longer keep quiet. Especially (for) my siblings,” Ian said.
“Let’s not play games anymore. First of all, even though our family is in the show business industry, my family and I prefer to be private. For me, I just want to happen what our occasion as a family is, I just want us-we alone. First of all, my mommy called. I am very happy because we did not talk for several years. I am very happy, I love you-han we, I miss We-han kami. We talked. He planned this birthday for me he will prepare which some people did not happen. I was truly happy, overfilled with joy. He added, ‘Son, sorry for all the shortcomings, for all the weddings ko. ‘ And of course as a child, so am I. ‘I’m sorry, Ma,’ “said Ian.
Ian admits, he was hurt that after their phone conversation his mother texted to let him know that their meeting would be posted on the vlog.
“Bitter truth: ‘Your phone call, I was hurt. The next day you texted me, can I make a vlog what we talked about,” said Ian.
“Next he had someone he wanted to send. I replied, ‘Sorry, Ma. I don’t think we will be comfortable,’” Ian added.
“I know you hurt, I hurt you because I didn’t show up. You prepared. Best effort Ma. Hands down, I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart,” said Ian.
Ian’s message to the actress is to be the mother of their siblings and to be the grandmother of her grandchildren.
“Mom, I know you are watching. I will repeat, I love you so much. That will never change, Mom. Please give your family a chance. Give us a chance to take care of you, love you, tenderly you, every day. Please, Ma. The people around you, remove that, your family. I beg, as your child, as your child who loves you, “said Ian.
“My only wish on my birthday is to be Nora Cabaltera Villamayor, not Nora Aunor. I want your grandchildren to experience the love you can share. I want you to be with them while we still have strength,” Ian added.
Ian is one of Aunor’s children with his ex-wife Christopher de Leon.
