Na-disqualify na TNT contesant sa It's Showtime, naglabas ng pahayag tungkol sa pagtanggal sa kanya - KAMI.COM.PH

Drama has once again hit primetime television as It’s Showtime and host Vice Ganda are taking firm legal steps after contestant Marco Adobas allegedly made serious accusations against the show’s popular singing competition segment, Tawag ng Tanghalan (TNT).

Marco, who was recently eliminated from the competition, took to social media to accuse the program of “unfair treatment” and alleged bias in the judging process — a claim that both Vice Ganda and the production team have called “baseless and damaging.”

“He crossed the line between feedback and defamation,” one production insider shared.

❌ Immediate Disqualification Announced

Just hours after Marco’s viral post, the official It’s Showtime account confirmed that he has been disqualified from the entire competition due to “behavior unbecoming of a contestant” and violation of contract terms.

Vice Ganda addressed the issue briefly during the live show:

“We give chances to thousands of dreamers. But we will not tolerate accusations that destroy the dignity of this platform,” the comedian-host said.

⚖️ Legal Action Incoming?

According to reports, the legal team representing It’s Showtime and ABS-CBN is now preparing to file a formal case against Adobas for defamation and breach of agreement, citing the contestant’s public outburst as potentially libelous.

“This isn’t just showbiz anymore — this is legal,” said Atty. Romel Torres, a media lawyer consulted about the case.

💬 Netizens React: Divided But Loud

Social media exploded with mixed reactions. While some rallied behind Marco, claiming that contestants have the right to speak out, others defended Vice Ganda and the show, saying Marco’s actions were “ungrateful” and “disrespectful.”

Hashtags like #IStandWithTNT, #ViceGandaSpeaks, and #MarcoAdobasControversy trended nationwide.

“Vice built this platform with integrity. It’s not perfect, but you don’t bite the hand that gave you a shot,” one user posted.
“Maybe he just said what many contestants are too scared to say,” another user countered.

🕵️‍♂️ What’s Next?

As of now, Marco Adobas has not responded to the legal threats, but he has taken down several of his controversial posts. Meanwhile, It’s Showtime continues with its TNT segment, reiterating its commitment to fairness and transparency.

Whether this issue heads to court or dies down in the coming weeks, one thing is clear: this controversy has become more than just entertainment — it’s a battle of truth, ego, and reputation.
