My respect for Juday as a mother and her respect for me as a mother will forever be appreciated,’ Claudine writes

MANILA, Philippines – Actress Claudine Barretto took to Instagram to tell bashers to stop comparing her daughter Sabina to Judy Ann Santos’ daughter Yohan.

Both of them adopted Sabina and Yohan before they were married to their respective partners – Claudine to ex-husband Raymart Santiago, and Judy Ann to Ryan Agoncillo.

Claudine made the statement, after some bashers had continued to pit her against Judy Ann.

Claudine wrote, “To those who keep comparing my daughter Sabina to Juday’s daughter Yohan, please stop niyo ang kababawan nyo. FYI po, Judy Ann and I have been friends! And FYI [for your information] ako po ang tumulong at nag-ayos ng papers ni Yohan!”

“Hindi po ito competition mga nanay lang po kami, nagkakaisa at nagtutulungan. Uulitin ko po, ako ang nag AYOS NG PAPERS NI YOHAN. Yan po ang bond na shine-share namin na hindi nyo po alam,” she added.

(This is not a competition. We’re both just mothers helping each other. I repeat. I was the one who helped fix Yohan’s papers. This is the bond that we both share that you might not be aware of.)

Last year, Claudine became active again in showbiz, having appeared in the movie Etiquette for Mistresses. She is currently acting in the teleserye Bakit Manipis ang Ulap on TV 5.

Judy Ann, meanwhile, is focusing on her newborn daughter Luna whom she gave birth to last January
