Sanya Lopez Shares Her Thoughts On Jak Roberto-Barbie Forteza Split

Kapuso actress Sanya Lopez shared her thoughts on the breakup of his brother actor Jak Roberto with actress Barbie Forteza.



Jak and Barbie’s separation was the first celebrity breakup of 2025. This came as a surprise for many showbiz fans. They had been together for seven years and JakBie fans were shocked by this and anticipation surfaced that they might end up together.

Prior to the breakup confirmation, rumors already surfaced that Jak and Barbie ended their relationship. However, when Sanya was asked about this back then, she denied the rumors and that Jak and Barbie are very supportive of each other even though the latter has a different onscreen partner, David Licauco.

After Barbie Forteza and Jak Roberto’s breakup was confirmed, netizens took notice of the intriguing post that Sanya Lopez shared on her social media page.

In a recent interview, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Sanya was asked about the JakBie breakup. She admitted that she also felt sad when this happened.

“Of course, masakit din for me na hindi pala sila ‘yung nag-end up together. Pero I respect their decision kasi sila iyon, e. Kumbaga, nandito lang naman ako to support both of them,” Sanya said.

Despite what happened, the Kapuso actress is happy with the new achievements of his brother, especially that Jak is set to finish building his dream house.

She is happy and proud for Jak. “Nadadaanan ko siya. First time ko nakita, nakakaiyak. Nakaka-proud for him na finally you have your own house and lahat ng mga pinaghirapan niya. Ang cute lang,” Sanya shared.

She added that it is a good feeling for them to have their dream house because in the past, they were just living in other people’s houses. She already has her own house and her brother will have his own place also.

The actress is indeed happy seeing the success they have achieved throughout the years and she is thankful because of this. Sanya Lopez also shared that when they were younger, all they were thinking was how to survive, how they could have their meal three times a day. Now, they are receiving big blessings.
