“Huwag na, Buneng. Kami na ang bahala dito,” said Meme Vice, who called the actress Buneng, her character in the successful MMFF 2024 entry.

“Ate, sorry hindi ako nakapag-promote!” Maris said before laughing.

To recall, the “And The Breadwinner Is…” cast promoted the film amid the much-talked-about controversy involving Maris and Anthony Jennings. Both Maris and Anthony skipped the press events for the movie.

The Unkabogable Phenomenal Superstar later aired a touching reply, stressing that Maris well-being is more important than the movie.

“Okay lang, Buneng, mas mahalaga ka kesa dun sa pelikula,” Meme Vice told the actress-singer.

To which Maris earnestly responded, “Meme, I love you so much talaga. Totoo ‘to.”

Vice Ganda then quipped, “Pero gusto ko rin humingi sa iyo ng paumanhin. Wala kang bonus.”

The comedian turned serious as he aired, “Hindi. Mas mahalaga ka kaysa sa kung saan man at kung ano pa man. I love you, Buneng.”

“I love you, Meme,” Maris fondly answered.
