Pepsi Paloma: Sarsi Emmanuelle Inconsistent Statements About The Late Actress
Sarsi Emmanuelle had different stories about Pepsi Paloma
Former actress Sarsi Emmanuelle’s statements about the late actress Pepsi Paloma had inconsistencies, a report stated.
Pepsi and Sarsi were among the 80’s Softdrink Beauties popularized by the late talent manager Rey dela Cruz.
They were among the sultry actresses of that generation. Pepsi’s name became controversial once again because of Direk Darryl Yap’s movie about the life and death of the late actress.
Because of this, the past and recent statements of Sarsi were recalled. Just recently, TV5 broadcaster Julius Babao released his interview with the Softdrink Beauties.
Sarsi Emmanuelle, Coca Nicolas, and Myra Manibog talked about their experiences working with Pepsi Paloma and what they were supposed to know about her life and personality.
Based on the article in PEP, Sarsi said in the interview with Julius that Pepsi’s lifeless body was brought to the Capitol Medical Center in Quezon City. However, a report from Times Journal on June 1, 1985, stated that the remains were brought to the United Doctors Medical Center (UDMC) in Welcome Rotonda, Quezon City.
A publication even showed a photo in which Sarsi was crying beside Pepsi’s lifeless body at the morgue of UDMC. Myra Manibog confirmed to the showbiz news outlet that PEPSI was indeed brought to UDMC and not to Capitol Medical Center.
Back on May 30, 2020, PEP reached out to Sarsi to ask about Pepsi and it was the latter’s death anniversary on May 31. Sarsi refused to say anything about the late actress. She said that she did not know Pepsi personally.
“I only knew a few bout pepsi. Ahead cya sakin. Almost 3 [years] na sa showbiz c pepsi when i came in. And in our shoot just hi and goodbye lng kami. Not really close. Anything bout her personal life. Wala akong alam. We just simply knew each other. Ganun lng.”
However, in Julius Babao’s interview, Sarsi said, “Yung sabihin mo na alam nung ina, mas marami pa kaming alam.” In the same interview, she claimed that Pepsi Paloma had insecurities about her.
Another inconsistency in Sarsi’s statement was when he said in her interview with Julius back in August 2024 that in the morgue, she was the one who shut Pepsi’s eyes and put the tongue inside the late actress’s mouth.
However, in Julius’s interview released on January 23, 2025, Coca Nicolas said that she was the one who did that. Myra supported this and Sarsi did not contradict it.
Back in an August 2024 interview, Sarsi stated that it would be the last interview she would have regarding Pepsi. She said that she just allowed Julius to have that interview because he has been telling her about this since 2023.
