Kris Aquino, 47, revealed that she would not receive any inheritance from her mother, the late President Corazon “Cory” Aquino.

She gave this statement following her explanation about what sparked her ire towards Mocha Uson, who she said maligned the memory of her parents Cory and the late Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr.

It was on June 4 when Mocha posted on Facebook a video of President Rodrigo Duterte kissing a Pinay Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) in South Korea and a video of Senator Ninoy being kissed by two Pinays mere minutes before he was assassinated at the Manila International Airport, now known as the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

What made it worse, according to Kris, was that Mocha “crossed the line” on the same day Josh—Kris’s son with ex-flame Phillip Salvador—celebrated his 23rd birthday.

“Alam ng buong Pilipinas—kaya nga sinasabi nila, ‘Naglabasan lahat ng baho mo.’

“Hello?! Lahat ng bahong iyan, alam na alam niyo. What’s new? There’s nothing new,” Kris said in her live interview on Cristy Ferminute on Radyo Singko 92.3 earlier today, June 7.

She recalled a time when her relationship her mother was strained.

She said, “So eto yun, the most painful part of our lives, kami ng mom ko, our relationship was nung pinagbubuntis ko si Josh.

“First time niya ako tiniis.”

Kris went on to say that her mom was so furious at her getting pregnant out of wedlock that she got “disowned” at the time by the former president.

Kris replied, “No. I was never part of the inheritance.”

Then, she related the conversation that she had with Cory before the latter died of colon cancer on August 1, 2009.

“Let’s be clear. It was never spoken of because hindi naman ine-expect na mangyayari sa kanya, but she made it very clear to me, ‘I want the field to be level. Gusto ko patas sila.’”

Cory was referring to Josh and his younger brother Bimby, aka James Yap Jr., Kris’s son with ex-husband James Yap.

Kris continued, “Nasa tiyan ko pa lang, pinag-aagawan si Bimb para sa commercials.

“Masakit sa mom ko na this child is getting everything, and Kuya Josh—because of his condition, because of his autism—hindi maaasahan kung ano’ng mangyayari.

“That time pa lang, sinabi ng mom ko, ‘Because you have money of your own, the money that you should expect from me, nakapangalan kay Josh.’

“And hindi ako ang namamahala nun. That is under my Ate’s care.”

Kris was referring to her eldest sister Ballsy Aquino-Cruz, the only one she calls Ate among her older sisters.

She continued, “Because come what may, sinigurado ng mom ko, hindi maagrabyado si Kuya. And because nag-sorry kaming dalawa sa isa’t isa about that.

“And she said, ‘I was also wrong because I punished the child.’

“Favorite niya si Josh—yung pinaka-weak, yun talaga ang mamahalin mo.”

“So this happened, birthday ng panganay ko,” Kris said, referring to Mocha’s publishing of the video.

In previous interviews, Kris had spoken about a huge chunk of her hard-earned money going into the “trust fund” that she had put up to secure her children’s future, particularly that of Josh, who has special needs.

As it turned out, Kris’s mom was also concerned about Josh becoming financially secure enough for him to have the best care possible long after his Lola Cory was gone.

A LOLA’S UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. Recalling how much Cory loved her son Josh, Kris turned emotional and cried.

“Josh was always so special to her.

“Share ko lang po sa inyo, ang cancer sobrang sakit. Nung nasa ospital, konting touch sa kanya aaray siya.

“Pero pag si Kuya ang darating, magho-holding hands sila, magdadasal sila, titiisin niya yun.

“Because ganun niya ka-love si Josh.”

Kris further recalled that her mom’s last conversation before she died was with Josh.

“Kaming lahat hindi na kami nahawakan ng mom ko kasi alam naming masakit, pero for Josh ginawa niya.

“And ang last na nakausap niya si Kuya.

“So this was the time inako ng mom ko ang pagpapalaki kay Josh.”

Referring to when she was working nonstop as a TV host-actress for the most part of her life, Kris pointed out, “Nung busy pa ang mom [ni Josh], nung hindi pa niya kaya idikta na ito lang ang oras ko, so she took on that responsibility.

“Suwerte si Josh lumaki siyang may lola.”
