Coco Martin recalls getting worried while filming intense scene with Miles Ocampo…

Director-actor Coco Martin opened up about how difficult it was to shoot the rape scene of actress Miles Ocampo in his latest action series, Batang Quiapo, which will air this coming February 13.

Coco admitted that he found the scene awkward since he treats the former child star as his own daughter in the industry.

“Honestly, noong una, syempre nga, baby ko kasi to, eh.

The trailer showed that the father of Coco in the series, which was also played by him, raped the young mother, which was portrayed by Miles.

Parang ang awkward nung eksena,” he continued.

Meanwhile, Miles found the whole filming of the scene easier as it was with someone she already feels comfortable with — both in front and behind the cameras.

The former Goin’ Bulilit star revealed that Coco has been thoughtful when they were doing the intense scene.

Nandun kasi yung alaga. Magiging komportable ka kasi kapag alam mong inaalagaan ka,” Miles said.

The former Ang Probinsyano star added that he made sure to get the consent of the actress before they started filming the scene.

Batang Quiapo will air on February 13, just months after the now-defunct longest-running TV show Ang Probinsyano went off the air. Coco will be joined by Lovi Poe, Cherry Pie Picache, and John Estrada, to name a few.
