Judy Ann on reunion project with Piolo: “Habulin ko muna yung waistline at sex appeal niya!”

Judy Ann Santos has been getting offers for a possible reunion project with Piolo Pascual every year.

Judy Ann Santos has one condition before doing a reunion project with Piolo Pascual: “Habulin ko muna yung waistline niya. Kapag nahabol ko na yung waistline niya at nahabol ko na yung sex appeal niya, baka pupuwede na!”

The possibility of a reunion project sparked after ABS-CBN chief content officer Charo Santos-Concio teased Judy Ann and Piolo when they shared the stage with Matteo Guidicelli on June 7.

This was during the press conference for Sun Life’s new collection of digital short films held at Makati Shangri-La’s Rizal ballroom.

Charo noticed that Judy Ann and Piolo were both stuttering in their spiels.

In a teasing tone, the ABS-CBN boss joked, “Nagkakamali kayo, Juday [Judy Ann’s monicker] and Piolo, ha.”

While Piolo only laughed at Charo’s comments, Judy Ann quickly defended herself, “Ay, hindi ako nagkakamali, Tita. Hindi ako nagkakamali!”

Charo then continued, “Kinikilig tuloy ako! I’m a faney! Yan na nga ba sinasabi ko, e.”

The former ABS-CBN president then recalled the days when she worked with Judy Ann and Piolo for the TV series Esperanza, which aired from 1997 to 1999.

At that time, Piolo played third wheel to the love team of Judy Ann and Wowie de Guzman.

Charo told the guests, “Alam niyo po, may konting trivia. Pwede?

“Magkakasama po kaming tatlo sa Esperanza. Hindi lang po halata!”

While Judy Ann and Piolo were both laughing, Charo voiced out the longtime wish of their avid fans.

“So marami naman pong fans dito ng Juday-Piolo love team? Ipagdasal natin na sa mga darating na taon [matuloy na].”

Judy Ann answered, “Kaya mo ba?”

The banter between them was cut short when the four celebrity ambassadors proceeded with their spiels.

JUDY ANN EXPLAINS. In an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other reporters after the press conference, Judy Ann said she’s aware of fans’ clamor for a reunion project with Piolo.

She said, “Tawang-tawa kami, kasi nga, ngayon lang naman nakita ng mga tao na nagkita kami ni Piolo.

“Pero kapag nagkakasalubong kami, okay naman kami.

“Siguro nga kasi, ang daming naghihintay, ang daming nag-aabang, ang daming nag-e-expect ng comeback. But we’ve always been friends.

“Kagaya ng sinabi ko kanina, si Ma’am Charo, yung kilig naman niya kanina, para sa Juday at Piolo [love team], hindi naman nawala, as in nandiyan talaga siya.”

The actress revealed that she has been getting offers for a possible reunion project with Piolo every year.

However, there were no firm discussions or any pitched storyline that was presented for them.

Judy Ann disclosed, “Matagal na. Every year. Just for the record, every year, meron diyan.
