One actor who managed to keep his S.O. away from the limelight is Ian Veneracion, who has been happily married to engineer Pam Gallardo for 25 years now. For the former (still is) matinee idol, getting married at 22 is the “best decision of [his] life,” adding that he still feels the same way up to this day.

“Sobrang sigurado ako,” he tells Karen Davila in the journalist’s newest vlog. “I made a promise to her no’ng kinasal kami and a promise to society. But more than that, I made a promise to myself, which for me, is the most important thing. I promised to take care of this person for the rest of my life.” Aww!

Notoriously known for being low-key about their relationship, no trace of Pam can be seen on Ian’s Instagram, a decision he made due to his wife’s private nature. “She doesn’t like attention. Hindi naman s’ya mahilig sa selfie, wala siya sa social media. That’s one thing I also like about her.”

Blessed with three kids, he shares the most important relationship advice to his sons: “Madaling mambabae, kahit sino puwedeng mambabae. There’s nothing cool about it. Pero ‘yung sticking to the one you know that’s meant for you, that’s the right path. It takes more of a man to be like that.”
