PBA Player Caelan Tiongson Reacts to Rumors Linking Him to BINI Aiah

CAELAN TIONGSON – The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) player has broken his silence regarding rumors of a romantic involvement with BINI member Aiah Arceta.

Maraiah Queen Arceta, also known as Aiah, is a singer, rapper, dancer, model, and philanthropist. She grew up with her only brother and actively participated in school events, modeling, and beauty pageants. In 2018, she won the title of Miss Silka Philippines, a national beauty pageant organized by a cosmetic brand.

In 2022, Aiah pursued higher education at Enderun Colleges in Taguig as a scholar, majoring in Architecture in Interior Design and Multimedia Arts. Despite her growing fame, she continues to balance academics with her entertainment career.

Aiah’s path to stardom began with auditions. In 2018, she auditioned for Pinoy Big Brother: Otso and advanced to the third round but did not become a housemate. She later auditioned for the 2022 TV series Darna but did not land the role. However, these experiences helped her gain recognition from Star Hunt Academy (SHA), a training program under ABS-CBN for aspiring performers.

She joined SHA as a trainee, becoming the last member to enter the program three months after training had begun. On October 10, 2020, she officially graduated from SHA along with seven other girls, marking her entry into the P-pop girl group BINI under Star Music. BINI officially debuted on June 11, 2021.

The BINI member was previously linked to Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) player Caelan Tiongson. In an interview with News5 on Monday, March 3, Caelan shared how he met Aiah. “I met her through a mutual friend, and she’s a great person. But I’m not gonna speak on her personal life any more than that,” he said.

While he neither confirmed nor denied any relationship, Caelan openly admitted that he is a fan of BINI. “I’m a BINI fan. Yeah, for sure. Love their music,” he added. Speculation arose when fans claimed to have spotted Aiah watching one of Caelan’s games. However, as of now, Aiah has not made any statement regarding the issue.
