Actress Kristine Hermosa revealed that she is open to working again with former on-screen partner Jericho Rosales.

Kristine Hermosa said she has no problems reuniting with her former onscreen partner and ex-sweetheart Jericho Rosales, but she pointed out that it should be for a project worth their efforts.

The actress’ name came up when Rosales said in a TV Patrol interview that he wanted to do a project with Hermosa earlier this month.

Sought for comment, Hermosa said she’s open to working with the actor again, but it will depend on the project that would be offered to them.

“Oo naman. Pero depende talaga. Depende sa project, depende sa mga eksena, basta depende. I need to see everything muna. Need kong i-filter lahat. Kung worth it naman, gagawin namin. Hindi ‘yung masabing may nagawa lang,” she told reporters on the sidelines of “Eat Bulaga’s” April 20 episode, where she was among the guests on father-in-law Vic Sotto’s month-long birthday celebration.

Hermosa then clarified that her husband Oyo Sotto has no problems with their possible reunion, while she clarified that opting to stay out of the limelight in the meantime was her decision.

“Wala namang problema [kay Oyo]. Very professional naman kami. Kung gusto ko, susuporta naman siya. The thing is, choice ko talaga,” she said. “Ayoko kasing gumagawa ng kung ano-ano lang unless if it’s worth it and worth my time and effort ko. Basta ‘yung magandang project, ‘yung may katuturan.”

Rosales and Hermosa worked together on several hit projects such as the teleserye “Pangako Sa’yo,” and movies such as “Forevermore.” They were reportedly in a relationship from 2000 to 2004.

She married Sotto in October 2011 and had four children with him since. In February, the couple announced that they are expecting their sixth child.

Meanwhile, Rosales has been separated from estranged wife Kim Jones since 2019.
