Jodi Sta. Maria shares birthday message for son Thirdy

Kapamilya actress Jodi Sta. Maria turned to social media to share her message for her only child, Thirdy, who just turned a year older.

Sharing clips of them together through the years, Sta. Maria expressed love for her only child.

“There are no words that can fully capture what I want to say to you and how much you mean to me. When the Lord blessed me with a baby boy, He knew that you were going to change my life in the most beautiful way. It is a privilege to watch you grow which honestly excites me and scares me at the same time… alam mo naman pagdating sa iyo, overthinker si Mama,” Sta. Maria wrote.

She also shared her prayer for Thirdy, who turned 19.

“Today, we celebrate you anak for the amazing person that you are. Madaming nagmamahal sa ‘;yo and I am sure matutuwa at magugulat sa sobrang big boy ka na! I pray this year brings you closer to your dreams, may the Lord grant the desires of your heart, guide you and give you wisdom in every decision. May He also bless you with love and joy. Happy Birthday our Tikmuy! I love you and WE love you very much. You will always have all of me,” the “Lavender Fields” star added.

In a previous interview, Sta. Maria admitted that the “transition from having a family to doing things differently” was the biggest challenge for her as a single mom.

However, she refuses to take all the credit for raising Thirdy into the young man that he is today.

Calling Thirdy’s father Panfilo Lacson Jr.  or Pampi a “good provider,” Sta. Maria thanked the Lord that she and Lacson are in good terms, and are good friends.

Last June, Sta. Maria confirmed that the Supreme Court has granted the nullity of her marriage to Lacson. They were married back in 2005 but separated in 2010.
