Hello, Love, Again was a total success. It’s no wonder why people are asking for another project between Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards.

GMA Network Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes is well aware of this and even confirmed to PEP.ph during a quick interview last December 15, 2024. Atty. Annette admitted that she is one of those people who is looking forward to seeing KathDen (Kathryn and Alden’s love team name) onscreen. However, she noted that a series might be too difficult to fix for the two, but she’s keeping her hopes up for all possibilities—even for another movie.

“Isa ako ‘dun! Pero hindi ko alam kung series dahil mahirap ang series, mas madali kung movie. So let’s see!” Atty. Annette told PEP.ph as detailed in December 18, 2024 report.

PEP.ph underscored in the report that the Internet has been clamoring for a Philippine adaptation of the hit K-drama, Queen of Tears. And the chosen actors for the lead roles? Kathryn and Alden. Atty. Annette did not shut down the possibility of it but made sure to be clear about the things they have to consider for such a project to become a reality.

“Pag-usapan namin ng ABS. Kaya lang, ang problema siguro, ‘yung timeslot. Saan ilalabas… Pero what if kung may gusto ng streaming, ‘di ba? Baka puwede naman kaming mag-collab ng ABS for a streaming platform,” Atty Annette truthfully stated.

She also shared that GMA management is very open to collaborate with ABS-CBN once again. Atty. Annette claimed that it’s also something that fans want. “Lahat, puwedeng pag-usapan. We’re very open to ABS. Maganda naman ‘yung collab namin. May clamor kasi na magsanib-puwersa muli ang Kapuso at Kapamilya. I’m sure pati sa kanila, may clamor. So let’s see, let’s see kung anong mangyayari,” she declared.

As everyone knows, Kathryn and Alden first worked together in 2019. It was for their groundbreaking film, Hello, Love, Goodbye directed by Direk Cathy Garcia-Sampana. It had a total revenue of P880 million. And that’s all while Kathryn was a part of the former leading love team in the Philippines, KathNiel.

Years later (and a viral breakup after), Kathryn and Alden teamed up again for a sequel to their first blockbuster film—making another blockbuster. Their second project together, Hello, Love, Again garnered P1.4 billion box office worldwide.

Following their successful project tho, were rumors about the real score between the two actors. Some might think that it’s all for promotion, but a lot of their fans believe that the two are more than friends already. Alden had made sure to clear the air when it came to his alleged romance. In an interview with Preview.ph last May 2024, he once said, “Whatever is happening between Kath and I, I really want it to be personal.”
