Marian Rivera is one proud mom after her daughter Zia bagged several medals at a swimming competition recently.
The Kapuso actress took to Instagram to pen a message following her daughter’s win at the said competition.
“Words can’t express how proud I am of my daughter’s incredible swimming accomplishments! 🏊♀️🥇 She just won a total of 6 medals in the competition and I couldn’t be happier. 🏅,” she said.
The mom-of-two added: “Thank you, God, for showering us with these blessings! 🙏 Huge thanks to Coach Angelo and Coach Miguel for their dedication and hard work in training Zia. #BlessedBeyondMeasure.”
Fans online were quick to extend their congratulatory messages.
“You have grown so much ate Z. I have always been a fan of your parents ever since Marimar. I have watched you grow up and Sixto. NAKAKA PROUD ang bilis ng panahon. You are just 7 but has achieved so much. May God guide and protect you always,” one fan said.
“Congratulations Zia!!! Great job!!! ❤️ and to the whole family too!!” another fan wrote.
“Galing! Learning early on how her hard work at practice and perseverance to be the best paid off! Congratulations 👏🏻 Zia,” another fan wrote.
Meanwhile, Zia’s father Dingdong Dantes dedicated a post for Marian and Zia on social media.
“Behind the success of every aspiring athlete is the magic touch of their support team. @marianrivera,” he wrote.
Just last April, Zia also made her parents proud after her successful piano recital.
“Attended Zia’s piano recital yesterday and this little girl always amazes me! Couldn’t be more proud of you Ate Z! 😍 #MariaLetizia,” Marian posted back in April.
Dingdong also penned a message after Zia’s recital in April, saying that witnessing his daughter’s recital reminded him to find hope in the little moments in life.
“We’ve been experiencing setbacks and curveballs in the past few weeks, which is normal in life. But amidst the chaos, there are moments like this – watching my daughter play the piano with grace in her first recital. Suddenly, I snap out of the worry and all I see is beauty,” Dingdong said in a post back in April.
He added: “It reminds me to hold onto hope and find comfort in life’s little moments, and that everything’s gonna be alright.”
