Piolo Pascual shares his dream for son Inigo Pascual: ‘I want him to just keep on growing’

“I want him to be the best person he can be.”

These were the words of Piolo Pascual as he shared his dream for his son Inigo Pascual.

“He has so many things that he wants to do… But I want him to really pinpoint [one thing] because he is so much better than me,” he highlighted in an interview with Bianca Gonzalez in the Cinema One show The B Side.

The Kapamilya actor went on: “He is a better singer, better actor, he is a dancer. He writes songs and he is very talented when it comes to arts.”

Piolo remarked that with Inigo’s talent, he believes that he has a place in the entertainment industry.

“I want him to be able to pinpoint one thing that will catapult him to success beyond what he can imagine. I sincerely feel that he has a place in entertainment because of his talents,” he said.

The actor added: “So I want him to just keep on growing, just keep on improving, just keep on getting better and never stop learning, always be a student of this world and always be good,” he stated.”

Piolo recently headline a tour in Canada with Inigo. “We’re going to tour again [in 2025]. It’s a treat for me as a father because I get to spend time with him,” he said.

“I love performing with him even if he is better. Just watching him, looking at him perform, it makes my heart leap. I am proud of him. Super proud of him.”

In the same interview, Piolo was asked which between acting and producing films he wants to focus more in the future.

“I’m able to juggle both at the same time for the last couple of years. It’s hard to choose. If it’s the right project for acting, I do it. If it’s the right film to produce, I do it. But definitely I am more inclined towards acting because that’s always been my first love,” he stated.

“Producing comes after that because it entails risk, it entails money, it entails a lot of time. I’d like to produce films, especially Filipino films, that we can champion abroad and say this is from the Philippines.”
